Agdam
Distance from Baku - 362 km. Agdam in the old days was one of the larger towns located on the Karabakh plain. The ancient Turkish word "Agdam" means "little castle". Khankendi

At the end of the XVIII century, the son of Panahali Khan, Mehdi Kuli Khan built at this place a large settlement and called it Khankendi (Khan's village), and then gave it to his wife Peridjan Begim. In 1923 the town was renamed to Stepanakert (in honor of the revolutionary Stepan Shaumyan), but after the collapse of the USSR, Azerbaijan gained its independence, the city was returned to its original name.
Kelbajar
Kelbajar district is located on the slopes of the Lesser Caucasus. Its administrative center - Kelbajar, which means "high pass", "high ground." Distance from Baku - 445 km
